4.10 Structures and Utilities
Alternative 2a (refer to Table 2-4 and Table 2-6). Although this alternative would take longer to
implement, it would still be short-term.
As with Alternative 2a, replenishment would result in a beneficial impact to structures and utilities by
stabilizing them; no significant impacts to structures and utilities are anticipated. Accordingly, no mitigation
measures would be necessary.
4.10.4 No Action Alternative
No dredging or beach replenishment activities would occur under the No Action Alternative. There would
be no impacts to structures and utilities under this alternative and no mitigation measures would be
necessary. The beneficial effect of stabilizing structures such as stairways and outfalls would not occur
under this alternative.
