Construction and Rehabilitation History
(Sections D and E) had stone voids and washouts in areas, and the
concrete walkway was undermined. New stone (2,750 tons) was placed
at the base of the structure, and about 300 tons of stone was recov-
ered and replaced at the harbor by hired labor. The structure is
considered to be in fair condition, and rehabilitation has been
recommended. An aerial view of the Petoskey Harbor breakwater is
shown in Figure 168.
