Mitigation Measures for Alternative 2a
No significant impacts have been identified, and no mitigation measures are necessary for Alternative 2.
Impacts/Mitigation Measures for Alternative 2b
This alternative would not change the impact analysis described above for Alternative 2a. The only
differences under this alternative with respect to geology and soils is that less sand would be dredged and
placed on the receiver sites. Impacts would be less than significant and no mitigation measures would be
necessary.
4.1.4
No Action Alternative
Under the No Action Alternative, no fill would be dredged from the offshore borrow sites, and no sand
would be placed on the proposed receiver beaches. The receiver beaches would continue to erode
undeterred.
