Construction of a 1,350-ft-long west breakwater and a 750-ft-long
east jetty (Figure 284) was completed. The structures were built of

jetty head section and the shoreward arm of the west breakwater had
crest widths of 14 ft and armor stones ranging from 3.0 to 6.5 tons.
