The meander wavelength can be determined using hydraulic geometry
relationships or the analogy methodology. Generalized hydraulic geometry
relationships for meander wavelength can be found in EM 1110-2-1418 and
Copeland et al 2001. The analogy method is described in Chapter 5 of Copeland
et al, 2001.
