model.
The default memory model is set for approximately 2 gigabytes of random access
memory (RAM). The user may customize the memory requirement by modifying
the third line of the file "sedmemsize.dat". A representative sample of the contents
of the file is shown below. The first line contains the word "user" in columns one
through four. The second line has no function other than to serve is a character
string header for the third line. The third line of data are integer values
corresponding to variable names in the header list. These integer values are list
directed, so at least one space or a comma must separate each variable.

MQAL
Maximum number of quality constituents (MQAL = 1)
MSTEP
Maximum number of time steps
Modes of Operation
SED2D may be executed either in interactive mode, batch mode or automatic mode.
Typically SED2D is set to

The mode is determined by the value of the IBATCH variable within the program.
